Our Story
Mindful Cooking Class began with a simple observation: many home cooks struggle to prepare protein-rich meals that are both nutritious and genuinely enjoyable. The gap between knowing what to cook and knowing how to cook it well remains surprisingly wide, even in a country with as rich a culinary tradition as Greece.
Our founder, inspired by years of cooking education and observation of student challenges, created an online platform dedicated to demystifying protein-based cooking. We recognized that modern cooks need more than recipes—they need understanding. They need to know why techniques work, how to adapt them, and how to bring intention and awareness into every meal they prepare.

Sofia brings 18 years of culinary education experience and a passion for protein-based cooking techniques. She studied food science in Athens and has trained home cooks across Greece, developing a unique methodology that combines traditional Greek cooking wisdom with modern nutrition science. Sofia believes every cook can master complex techniques with the right guidance.
Yannis Nikolaidis
Protein Technique Specialist
Yannis is a classically trained chef with expertise in meat, fish, and legume preparation. His 15-year career spans restaurants in Patras, Athens, and beyond, where he perfected techniques for cooking protein at varying temperatures and textures. He translates professional kitchen knowledge into accessible home cooking lessons, helping students understand the science behind every sear, simmer, and sauté.

Marina holds a degree in educational technology and has spent the last decade designing online learning experiences.
